چکیده
We demonstrate dispersive readout of the spin an ensemble Nitrogen-Vacancy centers in a high-quality dielectric microwave resonator at room temperature. The state is inferred from reflection phase signal probing resonator. Time-dependent tracking demonstrated, and employed to measure T1 relaxation time ensemble. Dispersive provides interface solid spins, translating into shift. estimate that its sensitivity can outperform optical schemes, owing high accuracy achievable measurement phase. scheme moreover applicable optically inactive defects it non-destructive, which renders insensitive several systematic errors enables use quantum feedback.

Temperature for a dynamic spin ensemble.
In molecular dynamics simulations, temperature is evaluated, via the equipartition principle, by computing the mean kinetic energy of atoms. There is no similar recipe yet for evaluating temperature of a dynamic system of interacting spins. By solving semiclassical Langevin spin-dynamics equations, and applying the fluctuation-dissipation theorem, we derive an equation for the temperature of a ...

Considering metallic films at room temperature, we present the first theoretical study of the spin Nernst and thermal Edelstein effects that takes into account dynamical spin-orbit coupling, i.e., direct spin-orbit coupling with the vibrating lattice (phonons) and impurities. This gives rise to a novel process, namely, a dynamical side-jump mechanism, and to dynamical Elliott-Yafet spin relaxat...
متن کاملDissipationless quantum spin current at room temperature.
Although microscopic laws of physics are invariant under the reversal of the arrow of time, the transport of energy and information in most devices is an irreversible process. It is this irreversibility that leads to intrinsic dissipations in electronic devices and limits the possibility of quantum computation. We theoretically predict that the electric field can induce a substantial amount of ...
